The maps show how Beechwood Farm has changed since 1950.

Overall, the farm has shifted from a solely agricultural site to one that now mixes farming with tourism and renewable energy. Although several original fields remain, new features such as holiday cottages, solar panels, a campsite, and a farm shop have transformed the layout.

In 1950, the whole northern area was a single sheep field. Today, that space has been divided, with solar panels on the eastern side and a campsite on the west. The old track running along the bottom of this field has become a road, and two parking areas have been added beside the solar farm and again where this new road meets the older route in the northwest.

Across from the second parking area, a farm shop has been introduced, while the nearby fruit trees and the soft fruit and vegetable plots to the south have stayed almost untouched. The former triangular junction, almost in the middle of the farm, now provides access to a newly built barn to the south, next to the long-standing chicken enclosure. Moving toward the north, people can find a farmhouse that has remained in place, and the old barn beside it has been converted into holiday cottages. Finally, a river still curves around the western and southern edges of the site, crossing the main road to the west.
