ESL Fluency is committed to making its website accessible and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to follow internationally recognized accessibility standards so that eslfluency.com provides an inclusive and seamless experience for all users.

Our Commitment

We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the EU standard EN 301 549. These guidelines define best practices for designing and developing websites so that they are:

  • Perceivable – information and content are provided in ways users can see, hear, or feel.

  • Operable – all functionality is available from a keyboard and other input methods; visible focus indicators are provided.

  • Understandable – information, navigation, and design are clear and consistent.

  • Robust – the site works with current and future assistive technologies, modern browsers, and mobile devices.

  • Responsive – The site is designed to be responsive/usable on mobile devices as well.

What We’re Doing

We conduct reviews at least twice per year and regularly make improvements. Our accessibility efforts include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing text alternatives (alt text) for images and graphics.

  • Ensuring color contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

  • Structuring pages with proper headings, landmarks, and semantic HTML.

  • Ensuring all interactive elements are keyboard-accessible (including navigational menus, forms, modals).

  • Testing all forms for clear labels, error messages, and screen reader compatibility.

  • Reviewing videos and multimedia to include captions and/or transcripts.

  • Maintaining visible focus styles for interactive components.
